Our total financial commitment to tackling rough-sleeping this year is now over half a billion pounds. Today we’ve made another £10m available for councils so they can plan Covid secure accommodation for cold weather this winter - in addition to the existing funding. 3/5

We asked each local authority to produce a detailed plan to support those helped off the streets. We funded this with £100m of new money this year. We’ve also invited proposals to buy, rent or refurbish homes, creating 6,000 “move on” units, backed by over £400m. 2/5

The #EveryoneIn initiative protected more than 90% of the those sleeping rough on our streets at the start of the #COVID19 pandemic. It’s widely seen as having been the most successful plan for rough-sleeping in the world. Now we are planning for winter. 1/5
